Pancakes from potatoes


5 large 
 potatoes, uncooked, peeled and grated,
1-3 tablespoons flour,
1 egg, 
dash of salt,
dash of pepper,
1 clove garlic, pressed,
1/2 sall onion, finely diced,
sunflower oil, for cooking,
sour cream or mushroom sause.


Put potato into a bowl and add flour, egg, salt, pepper, garlic and onion. Mix well. Pour a small amount of oil into a frying pan and heat. Shape potato mixture into small pancakes and fry until golden broun on both sides. Serve hot with sour cream or mushroom sause. Yields 4-6 servings.
